The offense looked great.
The defense did not but got 4 takeaways which is encouraging.
Special Teams looked great.
SHSU is a top 5 FCS team and not UCA. Still shouldn't give up 45. But only gave up 14 in the 2nd half. Clear adjustments.
Mahomes is good, this offense cooks with him.
Defense has a lot of work to do, but what else is new? The takeaways were nice though.
Got the W, no one else in the big 12 impressed that much either. It's only week 1. Plus, this isn't 10 years ago. Some of these lower division teams can really play. There were several D-1 players on that roster we played today. 45 is too much, but SHSU is a solid program who wasn't afraid of Tech in the least.
