I have felt that the reason the Big 12 was "down" the last two years was poor QB play .At the height of the league [2007 and 2008] just about every team not named A&M and Baylor had top level D1 QB;s Kansas had Reesing, a terrible KSU had Freeman, MU had Daniels, UT had McCoy,OU had Bradford, we had gH and OSU had Zac Robinson. The last two years the 3 best QB's were on TCU,Baylor and K State. Not coincidentally the best 3 teams.
Now...it looks like there are several who have the ability to win games. Yeah...I believe Mayfield makes OU one of the best teams in the league, TCU has Boykin, UT looks like they might have found an answer in Heard and I believe we have the best in the lot in Mahomes, WVU and Baylor are both getting quality QB play.
having this many good QB's will make every game a relative tossup and I predict the conference champ could have two losses.
