Texas Rangers Farm System Question

For those that follow the farm system more closely than I do, how is the Rangers farm system? How much time should we realistically expect until the Rangers have a chance to compete for the AL West title. With the new ballpark opening in 2020 I'm hoping they can turn things around by then and not have below .500 teams the first few years of the new place. Hoping JD can trade Beltre, Hamels and maybe a few others to get some younger players for the future.
