The line opened at -12 and has not moved much (-13 at a few offshore spots). Not a lot to glean from these numbers. Low sample size. No suspect line movement. I imagine this will be one of our few games to get 50/50 spread action.
The total opened at 90 offshore, which I'm fairly certain is the highest opening total ever. Interestingly, the overwhelming % of money offshore is on the under. Now, this could be a really low sample size, could be public bettors seeing a huge number and taking the under, or it could be sharp $. It could also be all of the above. Despite posting two weeks ago that I would play every Tech under for the remaining 5 games, I will likely lay off of this one. It will be interesting to see these numbers closer to kickoff.
