Iykia McMichael has been named the new softball assistant coach. She was a former Mississippi St. standout and professional softball player. She comes from Ohio University where she was an assistant coach. She played her high school ball in East Texas. She will oversee recruiting efforts and the outfield. She will be the first base coach and help with offense.
