Just received my Hamilton Texas newspaper. It was about the National Glider contest.
The paper said that on Labor Day ,5 of the longest flights in the WORLD were out of Hamilton. This is a all Tech and West Texas group from Odessa and Midland. One member was staring WR at Permian and one Center on Spike Dykes championship team at Midland Lee. This should make Texas Spur proud, he lived there for a time.
Lubbock you can be much better than this with some work. 70 percent of Lubbock days are flyable and 50 percent are Soarable all year. Summer best into late fall. hubcity
