I mentioned in my re-watch vs KU that this squad doesn't have a killer instinct and some folks disagreed. You saw, again, that this team isn't finishing games. That's also not their total fault: they aren't used to winning.
UH- let them hang around and stay in a game Tech dominated
KU- let a team that shouldn't have been a contest hang around and get within 2 scores and pulled away late
WVU- had them on the ropes the entire first half and penalties gifted them a TD to get back in game and 3 missed FG's that should have been scoring opportunities.
The most frustrating part is IF this team puts it together for 4 quarters they are kinda salty. They just haven't and don't have the depth to rely on each other phase of the team to bail each other out.
Really frustrating game all around. 2nd half meltdown, piss poor coaching decisions, and mental mistakes over and over cost this team a pretty much signed, sealed delivered win.
If you let ANY team hang around in the Big 12 they can beat you. Everyone of them scores points. They gave this game away. Horrible, horrible second half of football.
