Just said on CNBC: there is reporting the president told Republican senators last week he is open to the idea of raising the tax rate on the top of the tax bracket in order to cut taxes for middle income earners, as well as help pay for his more populist idea like no tax on tips.
So much for the idea from our foolish left-wing posters that this president was raising taxes on the middle class to give tax cuts to the rich. Wow.
This is the first populist president going to work for the American middle class since FDR, and the democrats are busy defending Wall Street and going against the wishes of union workers.
