A week into the search there seems to be some consensus on the board make the homerun (Tang, Miller, or whoever you consider a home run) tell you no, before moving on to the secondary options. I'm interested in the feelings on the type of secondary options. So the question is this: If Tech can't land a home run hire, should the hire be the safest possible option or the option with the highest upside? I'm not listing names because everyone will rank different names differently. I want to know the type of hire you would want to see as the second option.
