Got a chance to head over to War B4 The Storm event in Carrolton today.
Caught Keyonte George, who has all but committed to TTU (assuming Beard stays). Incredible athlete and player. Can fill it up, dribble drive, vision is 20/10, and tenacious defense. He is a one and done, but would be a great pull for Beard and the RR.
Mikey Williams (2023) was in the building. Not playing, but there watching. Kid is already a celebrity. Kids/adults were flocking to him for photo ops.
Lee Dort (2022 offer) just an absolute freak athlete. 6'10 240 and a great user of his frame/size. Going to be a good one! Not sure about his fit in Beard's system, but regardless.. gonna be can't miss in state guy.
Arterio Morris (2022 offer) has a complete game. 6'4 guard from Dallas will have all the offers he wants. Perfect combo of skill and composure for Beard and Tech.
Finley Bizjack (2023 interest) went absolutely NUTS this weekend. 24, 24, 28 in his 3 games on very efficient shooting. The 6'4 Byron Nelson guard was district POY, 1st team all state (6A) for a BNHS team that made a run to Area Finals against a loaded Richardson team earlier this month. Fin is one of the most dynamic guards in the country. Can shoot it from deep, master at creating his own shot/finishing in traffic, and his court vision is very Pistol Pete/Magic Johnson type. He's got eyes in the back of his head. He has been receiving lots of interest from Tech over the past few months and expect him to receive an offer very soon. Currently top 10 prospect in the Texas 2023 class, with the whole summer in front of him. Just turned 16, too, so he is young for his grade. Going to be one to watch over the summer and next couple years as he gets closer to making a decision.
