Analysis: Ole Miss exposed Texas Tech's defense due to missing players and the fact that the defense isn't that good. The game against Lamar helped Bowman get some experience and gain his stride. The victory against Houston showed everyone that Tech’s offense is getting better game to game. Defensively Tech still has a long way to go to improve. To be fair, Ole Miss and Houston have really good offenses while the defenses are in the bottom 10 percent.
