Texas Tech is due for a big win at home. This could be that game. The factor here will be stopping Will Grier and David Sills. We saw how much better the secondary was with Jah'shawn back healthy. I think Alan Bowman will continue to be solid but I think the run game leads the way against a West Virginia coaching staff that's preparing for an all out passing attack.

I wanna pick Tech here, but believe WVU is eager to prove they are the real deal after "not playing anyone" up to this point. i think Tech plays very well throughout the game, but the WVU offensive weapons are too much to maintain for four quarters. Another big game from Bowman and the run game, falls just short. Last minute field goal from WVU wins, just like a few years ago.

I was wrong last week but not this time ... hopefully. Tech is hot right now after the win against OSU. Bowman is playing at a high-level, the run game is going but more than anything, Tech is dominating time of possession. If the Red Raiders go with the same idea against WVU and dominate TOP, there's no way Grier could keep up with Tech. I think Kliff has finally found his niche and if the play calling is as good as it was a week ago, then there's no question. Won't be easy against a potential Heisman winner but it will be close unitl about midway. This is going to be a great game.

This game could very well determine if Tech can legitimately compete in the Big 12 this year. Last year in Morgantown, this is one of the games they let get away, but thus year Tech is back at home after a huge signature win. I think the defense will continue to get stronger in this one and contain the Mountaineer offense. Unfortunately, Will Grier is one of the best in the country and I think he will be just too much. Tech loses but plays West Virginia close the whole game.

WVU has not been a good matchup for the Red Raiders in recent years, and this might be the Mountaineers' best team yet. Will Grier and the WVU offense is too much to overcome in this one. They have a bunch of talented backs and receivers as well. Alan Bowman throws for 400+ yards as Tech struggles to move the ball on the ground against their 3-3-5 defense.

Another week, another solid performance from the Red Raider. If Tech can establish the run game, look out. Grier and the WVU offense will get their licks in on offense, but I don't think it will be enough for them to overcome an inspired Red Raider team. If they don't already, the nation will know who Alan Bowman is after this week.
