So, we recently moved into our new home and the backyard (~1,550 sq. ft) is bare, graded dirt. We are wanting to install a sprinkler system in the backyard, but not the front.
The water main is in the front, however, so a line would have to be run from the front to the back.
I got an estimate yesterday for $3,250 to set everything up including the Rainbird control system in the garage.
My question, I guess, is that estimate fair? It was more than I was hoping, but a couple people I've asked said it made sense for a new system install.
