Recently got a speeding ticket for 81 in a 65. It was in a construction zone but no workers were present. Because it was in a construction zone, defensive driving is not an option. The ticket is $284 and an additional $100 to do the deferred adjudication. Haven't had a ticket in 10 years and I am unsure whether it is worth it or not to pay the additional $100. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
