Exxon or Esso at the time was asked by War Dept to help develop a better Aviation gas for better performance. So they went to work and came up with a fuel that added 15 mph to our fighters.
The kids on the campuses dont know any of this or the media. Shame on the media for the nasty attacks on energy and pipelines.
