Level 2 tells me Micah Hudson was working out with Lake Belton’s strength and conditioning coach over Thanksgiving break at Lake Belton’s facilities. (Would indicate to me he was not with the team for the game Saturday vs West Virginia as others have suggested). Source tells me Micah admits he was hurt and did fall behind in camp and felt buried on the depth chart. Micah was irritated about usage causing him to burn his redshirt but still not playing enough to truly factor in. Micah felt he was told some things during his recruitment that didn’t come to fruition during the season.
Level 2 tells me be very wary of an out of state SEC program in this situation. One I have not seen mentioned to be involved in the Micah Hudson drama to this point. Depending on how this plays out, i’ll share more on what I was told regarding that tidbit.
This information was all gathered on Thanksgiving Day, so it is already 8 days old. As always, things change constantly and we’ve seemed to make significant strides in keeping Micah according to our own insiders on this site.
I also wanted to note that the way it was told to me is that Micah Hudson was clearly frustrated with the situation, but he was not placing blame solely on Texas Tech for how this situation unfolded. I truly believe he wants to be a Red Raider. I’m not sure how it ever got to the point that it reportedly reached, but I hope he stays and EARNS the playing time he desires.
I’m hoping i’ve moved up from Amateur Level to Intermediate Level or dare I even say Professional Level source in @mxraider ’s eyes.
