For all of you trying to run Kliff and the rest of the staff out of town, consider this:
(Format: ranking-coach-year they joined the team)
1. Art Briles 2008
2. Gary Patterson 2000
3. Mike Gundy 2005
4. Bob Stoops 1999
5. Charlie Strong 2014
6. Kliff Kingsbury 2013
7. Paul Rhoades 2009
8. Dana Holgerson 2011
9. Bill Snyder 2009
10. David Beatty 2015
If you look at that list, there is a pretty darn strong correlation between the amount of time the coach has been established and their teams' ranking. You also see that there is a pretty strong list of names there.
Kliff needs time to solidify this program. The last thing Tech needs is to scrap everything and get in the back of the experience line in this conference. You want Kliff to be the guy, and for him to remain established when these tenured guys start retiring or moving to greener pastures.
We can't keep knee-jerking after each loss like this. It's not healthy as a fan base. Let's support our guys as they continue to steadily improve as a team. It really is getting better guys!
