Have gotten a few quotes, best I have received is 14.1 kw/hour production for 28k (after the 30% gov rebate). Originally had quoted me 20 kw/hour system before I told him I was in the process of adding solar screens with a brand new top of the line AC (3 unit) system to improve efficiency of the 15 year old system.
Really feel there is a TON of margin in this and lots of room for negotiation. Company that I met with today purchases panels made in San Antonio at Mission Solar.
3500 SQFT home with no trees to compete with and lots of real estate for the panels. On United Cooperative Services for power, whole house is electric..
