I know we have the other thread, but out of respect for what can only be described as an amazing accomplishment I wanted to point out what all of this means.
Making the top 8 is the equivalent of baseball making the World Series. It is the equivalent of basketball making the Elite 8. All of this has happened for a team with one senior. The Tech Women have only been to the National Championship once before, let alone make it to the Match Play and Top 8. Even then, it has been 19 years and now we are three rounds from a National Championship title.
I'm not suggesting we will go all the way, but darn aren't you just a little impressed by the recent performances of this team?
Let's kick Duke's butt tomorrow.
