The wife and I are looking to take the kids (5 and 8) skiing over Christmas break. I've never been and she's been 1 time in the last 15 years so we have no idea what we're doing.
The biggest issue we're having is that is has to be near Denver. I have enough Southwest points to get 4 free flights and that is what makes this trip possible. I also don't want to fly and then get in a car and drive 5 hours, so that limits our options. I'm guessing Keystone or Breckenridge may be our best bets. Something that has more to do than just ski all day every day would be nice as well.
Another option might be New Mexico as we could drive to Ruidoso without much issue or fly into Albuquerque and drive, but Colorado is the preference.
