Article from USA today from a while ago. So I'm sure it must have been posted on here already.. I never read it and it is an interesting read.

It goes to show just how important that s&c hire is.

Now I'm not sure Kliff has the right guy or not. I'mguessing he was an assistant Kliff brought from a&m (we know how that worked out with Wally)

But This guy is with the players and especially young guys more than any other coach. He is vital to the success of a program and especially one that doesn't get the elite type of recruits.

We as fans, boosters, and supporters as well as the coaches themeselves should be constantly evaluating our program. The past few years not only have we noticed some glaring physical deficiencies (I attribute some of That to tubs recruiting) but we have also fizzled off towards the end of the year (that also has to do with scheduling.)

This year at the very least, we need to show that we are going to compete in the second half of the season against quality but not dominant teams. Many have been saying it for months now. Our season starts this weekend and we absolutely need to show as a program that we are making strides due to the competitive nature and the different landscape of our conference and our state for recruiting.

I think Kliff will have these guys ready starting this weekend. But if we start slumping again(getting blown out, and losing games we can and should win at home), I think we should at least evaluate this area of our program. And if not improve with new coaches, then a better philosophical approach. What say you all?

P.S. I still think their players are juicing.
