RIP Rocky Thompson professional golfer

Rocky Thompson originally from Wichita Falls passed away. Never won on the PGA Circuit but did finish 2nd in Western Open in Chicago. Won 3 tournaments on Senior Tour and played into his 60's. Lived in Plano, Tx and was Mayor of Toco, Tx the wet city incorporated near Paris, Tx. His father started that city in the 60's because Paris was dry. Paris, Tx version of the strip with one store. Long time friend of my family but I had not seen him since 1999 and did not know he had Alzheimers. He went to University of Houston in the 50's when it had a reputation as a Golf school.
