Riots/Protests vs Rallies

Why was no one concerned about health, safety, and social distancing during all the riots and protests, and now that the president is speaking its suddenly a huge concern again? The virus was basically forgotten about for a few weeks but now we’re afraid again with Trump holding a rally.

Everyone is saying the Tulsa rally is unsafe and shouldn’t happen, yet no one seems to be concerned about the one million plus expected at a protest today in DC.

Help me understand because I don’t get it.
