You mentioned the VW Scirocco the other day on one of the threads got me thinking about my first car. I bought my used for 2.5'k I think. Worked my ass off to save money, Dad gave me about a grand to help me out. It was an 83. It was maroon. Lots of virginity lost in that car. Axle finally snapped in 94 or so. Great car. The suspension was made by Lotus I think. Had to push down and up to get into reverse.
