got me pumped. It's easy to wallow in the negatives after the season we just experienced. But reading their interviews helped me to realized that this team has some high motor performers with a lot of experience. I couldn't believe that Rika is down to 320! He can be a force. We finally have just a little bit of depth in our from 4-5, and I believe that between Gibbs, Smith and the experience and depth of the roster, our line is going to be noticeably better. I've been a wait and see fan regarding our d line, but I'm beginning to drink the cool-aide.
And the offensive might be the best we've had since '08, and if we cut out the turnovers, I believe that we might possibly be even better than '08. Our O line will be very good, assuming we don't have a rash of injuries, our running game is something that we haven't had in (fill in the blank) years (since Hanspard?) and we have a group of receivers with experience who hopefully will hang onto the ball much better than last year.
I also think that had Jace stuck around, we would have won the WVU, Ok St and the Baylor games. Yeah, I'm getting kind of full of myself, but having no go-to receiver last year and having no receiver that could just bulldoze for yardage given the ridiculous physical match ups he created would have been a huge difference.
