If you haven't looked at the schedule yet, I advise you to do so before reading on.

That being said, there are two changes that could occur and seem to be being discussed. NOT set to happen yet, but in talks to possibly happen:

-First, the week two bye. Kansas State also has a week two bye, and it would likely be in the best interest for both teams to swap their November 4th matchup to the week two slot for an early Big 12 contest. This would be much better for both teams, as it would mean you played the first 9 straight, get a week off, and then go into the final three game stretch of the schedule after hitting the reset.

-Second, the season finale in Austin against Texas could be moved from Saturday to Friday, which is when Texas played TCU this season. They likely won't play on Thanksgiving, however.

-As of right now, I don't believe Tech will be one of the teams to play on a Thursday night this year.

UPDATE: Alright, doesn't sound like the schedule swap with K-State is going to happen. Tech is very much in favor of the move, but K-State doesn't want to. So, very unlikely to happen at this point.
