For those of you more creative and experienced than me, I will be proposing on June 27th while in Chicago on a business trip / get-a-way weekend with my girlfriend. My expected future fiance's identical twin sister's husband proposed to her at Navy Pier, so I can't do Navy Pier. After making sure I get the thumbs up from her father, I anticipate doing it that evening, given the weather conditions are adequate. Any unique proposal ideas where I don't have to make a big public spectacle? I would much rather be one of a few people around when I actually go to do it.
