Have gotten a bunch of questions so wanted to list some guys that could be close to picking up offers from Tech. As of now I believe they’re still waiting on their “1st round draft picks”, that being Jacoby Jackson and Jack Leyrer among others. But if the staff feels like those become unlikely I expect this group to be in heavy consideration for an offer.
Session visited for both the January and March big visit days and I was expecting him to be offered at the time which obviously didn’t happen. Still, he has the size that coach Farmer is looking for at 6’6” and close to 300 pounds. He currently holds 20 offers but has yet to pick up his first Power 5.
Wrote about Ty earlier this week, he’s a guy who visited in March for spring practice before everything got shut down. He has 19 offers including Indiana and Vanderbilt.
Matt had a story with Strickland last month, he has 23 offers including Arkansas, Boise State, Houston, Purdue and others. Strickland was a visitor at the Tech/Ole Miss game in 2018.
Scott was a UTSA commit and yesterday picked up an offer from Ole Miss and decommitted about 4 hours later. He’s been in contact with the staff and they were planning on going to watch him this spring before everything got shut down.
Workman is a newer target who the staff has been in contact with. He currently has 6 offers, all FCS or G5.
Barnett is a guy with 6 offers, all of the G5 variety. He’s been in contact with the coaches and has posted a couple edits on social media lately.
