So I just asked this question on twitter, but I feel like this is an even better place to ask the question about which is stronger.
I believe Sports Hate might be a stronger, more visceral emotion, which is likely Schadenfreude adjacent, but damn it’s fun to watch a team fall short when you hate everything they represent. Kendrick Lamar levels of hate winning out when I hear Rockytop playing tonight.
