The Matador Report got me thinking, if we were to beat TCU this weekend, would this be a bigger win than beating Texas in 2002?
Both visiting teams were heavily favored, both were thought to have National Championship caliber teams, and both QBs were in the Heisman race at the time. On top of that, both Tech coaches were in the early stages of their head coaching career and expectations for the season were not that high.
I was at the 2002 game, but think if we win this one it would be a bigger program changer than the 2002 win turned out to be.
