Going to be interesting to watch what will end up being the first major of the year. It is at Harding Park, which is an old municipal course. It’s where Ken Venturi learned to play. If you younger guys are not familiar with him he was a Hogan disciple and had a beautiful swing ( but not beautiful like Hogan).
I played there about a century ago with one of my SF law partners and it was in pretty rough shape. Obviously they will have done some significant work on it, a la’ Bethpage, to get it in pro shape. Should be interesting.
