Part of History for Lubbock Police Department

My wife who is a 1975 Tech graduate roomed with a lady who was the first female police officer hired by the Lubbock Police Department. This was in 1973 and her name was Vivian Wood. She was from Marfa, Tx and was Sun Princess of of the Sun Bowl in 1970 when Tech played Georgia Tech. She did stay for a few years but eventually moved on and my wife lost touch with her. We looked her up in the Alumni book and it appears she lives in Plano now.
