I'm going to assume that Clark plays. But even with Clark, we have problems up front. While Clark was still in the game yesterday, we gave up a few sacks...to KANSAS!
Our line was exposed against Baylor, which wasn't too unexpected, because a lot of O lines are exposed against Baylor. But OU has speed on the ends and at linebacker, and that will generate holding calls against our line. And when they aren't holding, we'll get sacks unless Pat can figure out how to get rid of the ball a lot sooner.
I realize that two games--Baylor and Kansas--don't justify all this angst about our line. But my concern is that we are just pretty thin, and as the season progresses, our lack of depth is going to start costing us games unless these guys can step up their play and unless Pat can get the ball out of his hands more quickly.
Coach Hays will have his hands full this week.
