We are at the hospital, Jill is scheduled for 7:30am. On phone and can't retype story. To update on her EKG, she did show signs of prehypertension, but they said it's not out of line with her normal numbers, so she was approved for surgery.

Prayers and thoughts greatly appreciated.

Wreck 'em!

Update (10:23am): She's out of surgery! Can't see her yet. Dr said everything went smoothly. Performed laparoscopicly, so minimal incisions. We won't get pathology results until next week, but dr is confident it will be benign.

Thank you all. Please continue to pray for recovery and no complications. He also performed a partial hysterectomy, so we are officially a one kid family, but we don't have to deal with menopause (thank you, Lord!!).

Update (day after):[/B] Thanks again, everyone! We are home now. She was actually released 10 hours after we got to the hospital, which seems CRAZY considering they actually removed organs! She's very sore, but mobile and in great spirits. We request continued prayer that there are no complications from recovery (there are some funky things that can happen).

Our 2.5 y/o has been GREAT. She's always been very aware of those around her and is a big fan of Doc McStuffins, so we've used that to educate her. Before surgery and now, she'll sing to her mom "tell me what's wrong, what's going on". When we got home from the hospital, Lily ran to get her "doctor kit" to make mommy feel better. *heart in a puddle on the floor*

Recovery should be about 2 weeks. It's also an excellent catalyst to make some changes, which we've been lazy about, with eating, exercise, etc. Not in bad health by any stretch, but this is motivation to prevent it.
