Saw this just released yesterday on YouTube, from the "Wildflowers" era in the 1990s. As Effed-Up as the 1990s were, a helluva simpler time considering it was pre-9/11, pre COVID-19, pre-George Floyd. But this song is pretty damn appropriate for our day and age -- Hope in a time of uncertainty.
I'm one of the biggest Tom Petty fans around, saw him live four times in the 1980s and 90s. This is a simple little throw-away tune that never made an album, but made my day to hear it.

One of these nights it'll all wash away / And we'll wake up singing a brand new song."
