I'm not really serious at the moment but may be soon. I have a family of 4, a soon to be 4 yr old, 2 yr old and wife. I have no golf experience but would love to take it up. I plan on starting that part up soon but while I'm motivated, I was looking into memberships near me. The Resort Golf Club near Eagle Mountain Lake popped up in my searches and I am interested in this one. Does anybody have experience playing there and/or membership?
The 2nd part of my question would be what advice you would give to someone who wants to learn how to play? I have no friends nearby that like the sport and know virtually nobody in a 4 hour radius from me who enjoys playing. So it's not like I can tag along with some buddies and pick it up that way. Any advice is appreciated. Are golf pros the way to go? Do you need club membership somewhere to get a golf pro? I literally know nothing about any of this. Explain to me like you would a 5 year old because I have about as much knowledge haha
