There was a great interview with Suzy Favor Hamilton on Jim Rome's show on Showtime last night. She is promoting her new book Fast Girl which chronicles her exploits going from a distance runner and being in several Olympics to a wife, mother, and realtor in Wisconsin during the week and then she would fly to Vegas for a weekend of prostituting. She said once she got into it, she was as competitive as she was running and at one time achieved the rating of # 2 best prostitute in Vegas and # 9 in the world. In one day she once ran in a half-marathon someplace and then flew to Vegas for 5 different appointments. She blamed it on being bipolar and given Zoloft which made her completely uninhibited. She was in an open marriage and her husband knew all about the details. She was very open and seemed to get great satisfaction from her ratings. I read about this a few years ago, but it was the first time I have seen her interviewed.
