Know this is last minute, but wanted to see whether anyone had maybe a back house or other cheap option for a short term place to crash in Lubbock. I'm moving out there tomorrow to start calling on accts and have a place to stay, but it's just sleeping on a friends couch and I'd really prefer not to be there very long.
My wife is flying up next weekend to look at houses, so hopefully we're just looking at a month or so that I'll need a place. Talked to extended stay, but they're not as cheap as people seem to think and I figure an apartment would be a pain getting all the utilities turned on, etc for just that short time.
Anyone know of anything or have advice on where to look?
