Daughter went off to college in fall of 2019 to a small school in South Florida. Then an odd worldwide event occurred in spring of 2020 and she came home. Did the online thing for the last year and is going back to "real school" this fall, but not the school in Florida. She is narrowing the choices, but it looks like North Texas is going to win.
Since she didn't have much of a real college experience we want her to get that. My question: does anyone have advice about dorms at NT? Also, what is the Overton areas near NT? We are trying to decide whether to put here into an upper-level dorm or rent a room at an apartment.
She doesn't know anyone at the school so it will be pot luck on roommates. We don't want her living alone because she needs the interaction, especially after being away more than a year.
