So the city council just voted to impose a $275/head tax on all companies in the city that gross over $20mill to “help combat the homeless crisis.” I’m so confused, I just assumed the $15/hr min wage would have fixed the homeless issue. Seems strange it would have grown by 20% since 2016. I’m sure taxing business right out of town will solve the issue once and for all though.
