I have never bought a vehicle of any kind from a private seller (only dealers in my lifetime) but am considering doing so now. Beyond all the physical attributes of the vehicle, any tips for transferring title in the state of Texas? How hard is it? Any other tips of things I should do when making this purchase? Does the purchaser create the Bill of Sale document or should the seller do that, or does it matter just as long as one is done? I am in Texas btw. Thanks in advance.
