Was not the largest mass shooting in the U.S. It happened December 29th 1890 when 297 Sioux Indians
were murdered by Federal agents and members of the 7th Calvary at Wounded Knee, South Dakota.

The soldiers had come to confiscate the firearms but most had already been surrendered to authorities.
Of the 297 killed 200 were female and children. Is the second amendment important? You decide.
