We are heading to SPI in a few weeks with family and we were looking to leave a few days earlier to go and have time with alone with the wife and kids (and not the entire family). We are looking for some ideas between Lubbock and Corpus for something fun to do. Kid ages are 10 months, 4 and 7. We have looked at San Antonio, but we seem to go there about once a year so the usual tourist traps aren't exciting anymore.
