I just had my white coat ceremony about a month ago and I am still yet to get my celebratory bottle of whiskey/bourbon. I am obviously a broke graduate student so a "nice" expensive bottle for me right now is right around $80. I've heard Eagle Rare is pretty good and found a bottle online that is sitting right in the $80 range but I figured I'd consult the experts of RRS first. Do any of you guys have any good recommendations for me? I'm in Manhattan, KS so bonus points if anyone knows of a great KC whiskey/bourbon that I could find in this area. Thanks!
