I thought I'd bring this to the board. I'm sure I'll get the "don't let him leave the table until he eats" comments, but I'm wondering if anyone is dealing with this.
I've got a 13 year old boy. He's small and skinny and he doesn't eat well. He's got some texture issues where when he tries stuff he will gag, so now he just doesn't try. He eats chicken nuggets like they are going out of style and is highly addicted to sugar. I've been telling myself when he hits puberty his body will crave protein and food and hopefully he starts eating then. I was built a lot like him when I was his age and then began lifting weights in college and am no longer "small". But I also didn't have these types of issues eating.
Have any of you had any issues with this?
Thanks in advance.
