I'm so pissed off this morning. I had left some firearms with a friend and had obtained them and was driving back home. These are firearms I usually take to the weekend place... I always take my little Ruger American .22 lr ( not a pricey rifle but super accurate and it had some pretty nice glass on it), my Taurus Judge which I use as a snake gun, and this time, my favorite rifle, a Henry Big Boy in .357 Mag … just a beautiful rifle ( I usually take my SOCOM II but left it at home this time). I had the firearms on the back floorboard covered with a blanket. I have a LTC but never do carry on me or in my truck, for various reasons. In fact, I never drive around with firearms in my truck unless I am going to/from my weekend place or to a hunting destination. This time I f'd up and made an exception.

I parked about 30 yards from the front door of Costco just to pick up a few things. I was in there 20 minutes tops. I come out and the console of my truck ( which is also a seatback for a third seat up front) was flipped over, all the contents and a large soft drink were dumped in the back floorboard) and the Big Boy and the Ruger were both gone. They did the ol "jam a screwdriver in the keyhole" number on it, which is something which works notoriously well on F 250s. F'd up my door too. They were in such a hurry they didn't get ( or see I guess) the Judge; they left it drenched in Coke Zero. I went in to see if management could take a look at the security cameras and of course, they tell me the pods are just for show...the only cameras they have are trained on the store itself. The cop told me this was the third auto burglary in that parking lot this week. Yet, no security or surveillance...swell.

F*CKING SCUMBAGS!!!
