I had to fill up with gas during lunch, and when I was leaving the convenience store there was a woman headed in. Naturally, it was the kind of distance where I felt it was rude to simply go on, and yet I'll be damned if there wasn't nonetheless a couple of awkward seconds in there while I waited for her to reach her point of destination.
