A friend of mine has a son who will be graduating this year, and is strongly considering Texas Tech over Texas A&M. (This wasn't a possibility a year ago, and now, despite being accepted to A&M, he is strongly leaning towards Tech.) He thinks he would fit in better at Tech. "There are normal people at Tech."
I don't know how he will finish in his class, but he will definitely be in Top 3. Really smart kid. He worked for me this summer. Takes care of his business very well for a 17 year old kid.
Dad was looking for someone to visit with at Tech in the Mechanical Engineering Department who can point him in the right direction for potential scholarships, work study, etc. I think they will take a visit to Tech after football season.
Any help would be appreciated.
