Since at least one other person on this board is a Hank the Cowdog fan, I thought this deserved a topic.
John Erickson, the author of the Hank the Cowdog books will be at the Ranching Heritage Center Tuesday.

The books are great but the audio books are even better. For the audio books Erickson reads and does all the characters. When our kids were young we listened to the audio books in the car on long trips. They are laugh out loud funny... at least our whole family loved them. Recommend them if you travel with kids, or even if you don't.
I'd go to his event if I lived in Lubbock, even though my kids are out of college or about to be.
