Quick background - I graduated from Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering. The company I am with offers a tuition reimbursement program for those seeking a Master's. The reimbursement is roughly up to $9K per calendar year contingent upon grades (B or higher) and staying with the company for at least two years after completion of the course(s). The reimbursement is strictly for course tuition (e.g. books, lodging, travel expenses, and misc. fees are not included). I would still be working full time, roughly 40 hrs/week in the West Texas region.
I am interested in the Systems and Engineering Management route and have been looking at a few different colleges. It's my understanding that this course of study is more managerial/business oriented, and this better suits my career interests.
I'd like to get input from others that have worked professionally and opted to go back to school for a Graduate degree, and whether or not you found it to be worth it. Any input is much appreciated. (No kids that I know of and no wife, or I'd include pics...).
Thanks!
